Professional Development
Fundamental to the students' C2C success is supporting teachers in their professional development needs. NAMIG has facilitated a number of professional development workshops for teachers for example:
- CAD/CAM on Roland
- Water Management System
- Electronics for Beginners
- Electronics Project Development Stage I & Stage II
- Systems Engineering
Teacher PD Calendar 2012
The Teacher PD calendar is being finalised. However tentative dates have been set for the sessions below, venue and times to be confirmed.
Thursday 8 March - C2C Induction Day One - C2C, Project Management, Systems Engineering (full day)
Tuesday 20 March - C2C Induction Day Two - Lean & Quality at GM Holden, Elizabeth (full day)
(an equivalent session can be organised for South/West schools on demand)
Monday 30 April - Introduction to the “C” Projects, ie Engineers Without Borders, CRUZE Assembly Challenge, C2C in Space (half day – morning)
Friday 11 May - Introduction to C2C+ Projects, ie SWAT, UAV and VOLT Eco Challenge (half day - afternoon)
NOTES:
- TRT is paid for full and half day sessions but not sessions held after school or involving students.
- Lunch is provided at all full day sessions.
