About Tenix Defence, Electronic Systems Division (ESD)
Part of the Tenix Group, Australia's largest locally owned defence and technology contractor, Tenix Defence ESD specializes in total systems solutions for:
- Network Enabled Systems
- Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance
- Electronic Warfare
- Simulation
- Hydrography
- Simulation
Staff at ESD find themselves involved in providing integrated logistics support in electronics, software, electro-optics and mechanical and aeronautical systems. Or carrying out custom research and development into signal and high speed data processing, data fusion or image processing software. It's all in a day's work at Tenix Defence ESD.
Involvement with C2C Program
ESD is an active Industry Partner within the C2C Program, having been involved since the start.
Our involvement in the C2C Program can be demonstrated through the conduct of Industry Tours for Teachers and Students, providing technical advice in assisting students with the problem-based learning programs and our strong involvement in the NAMIG Advisory Body activities.
Opportunities for young people
Tenix Defence ESD has opportunities for engineering graduates in disciplines such as:
- Computer Science, Computer Systems or Information Technology;
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering.
However, we don't just have opportunities for engineering graduates. ESD offers a number of technical job roles that also play a vital role in the technology development projects we undertake. Those roles include:
- CAD Technicians
- Electronics Technicians
- Trainee Project Controllers
- Quality Assurance Co-ordinators
- Technical Illustrators
- Support staff, ie Human Resources and Finance.
