A message from Engineering Employers Association South Australia
The Engineering Employers Association South Australia (EEASA) aims to represent and promote the interests of companies in the metal and manufacturing sector in South Australia.
In addition, a range of advisory services are provided to member companies in the areas of industrial relations, human resource management, environment, industry development, education and training and industry performance.
The Engineering Employers Association South Australia also sponsors a Group Training Scheme
The Engineering Employers Association Group Training Scheme Incorporated (EEAGTS) is an "industry owned and managed" Group Training Scheme employing high quality apprentices for the manufacturing and engineering sectors in South Australia.
Involvement with C2C Program
The Engineering Employers Association has been involved with the C2C program since inception.
Our primary role is to support the program with such things as industry advice, career information and opportunities, company visits and placements and further vocational opportunities via apprenticeships, traineeships and cadetships.
Opportunities for young people
The metal and manufacturing sector provides opportunities for young people to pursue a range of career pathways whilst at the same time gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
Message to students
If you are motivated to undertake a structured training program, have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, are prepared to work and meet career challenges, then a career in the metal and manufacturing industry sector is worth exploring.
Basic requirements include completion of SACE Stage 1 or 2 with good passes in engineering focused maths, science, physics, design technology studies or similar subjects.
