The Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) is a leading industry association in Australia.
Ai Group member businesses employ around 750,000 staff in an expanding range of industry sectors including manufacturing, engineering, construction, automotive, food, transport, information technology, telecommunications, call centres, labour hire, printing, defence, mining equipment and supplies, airlines and other related service industries.
Ai Group members operate small, medium and large businesses. They include many major Australian and global companies operating in a range of industries. The organisation provides practical information, advice and assistance to help members run their businesses more effectively.
Opportunities for Young People
Ai Group has more than 300 staff and through its training arm, Australian Industry Group Training Services. employs over 600 apprentices and trainees. Approximately 230 of these are in South Australia.
The professional staff at Ai Group includes education and training advisers, workplace relations advisers, lawyers and employment and business specialists who provide services to members in the areas of training, workplace relations, human resource management, occupational health and safety and workers’ compensation.
Involvement with C2C Program
The Ai Group has been involved with C2C since its inception. Ms Heather Ridout, Chief Executive of Ai Group, is an ambassador for Concept2Creation and the Ai Group is also represented on the NAMIG Management Board.
