Advanced Manufacturing Leadership

BAE Systems, DANA Australia, Futuris Automotive, GM Holden, IMP Printed Circuits, NTS Global and Tenix, worked together with industry associations, the education sector and local governments in Playford and Salisbury to conceptualise and introduce a unique approach to the promotion of science, maths and technology education and skill development in Northern Adelaide Schools.

The NAMIG (Northern Advanced Manufacturing Industry Group) Inc was formed to collaborate with Northern Adelaide Schools to deliver the Concept2Creation (C2C) Program as part of the school curriculum.

2007 saw several new industry partners become involved in the C2C Program providing a broad range of industry experiences for participating students including C2C projects, industry tours, workshops and work placement opportunities. Current industry partners include:Machining

Advanced Manufacturing has been defined for our purposes using the following definitions.
